Shirley Michaels can't make the 55 Year Reunion, but sends this: "Here's a family picture of our kids and grandkids at our camp on Sebago Lake in Maine. We spend July and August here I'll be thinking of all of you as you gather to celebrate our class reunion."

Taken at about 7000' on Mt. Rainier on July 28, 2010. Grandson Tenzing is 6 years old.  Yes, he is named after Tenzing Norgay, who made the first ascent of Mt. Everest with Hillary.

Tenzing Norgay's son, Jamling, was our Sherpa guide on a Himalayan trek in 2003.

This is me at the East Glacier National Park in Montana, we couldn't go in any further because the roads were still closed from the snow but it was a beautiful sunny day. My friends live in Conrad which was about 45 minutes from the glacier. I actually had a buffalo burger which was really good when we stopped for lunch.
